The Neighbourgoods Market

saturdays: 9am-3pm

Much like its sister market in Cape Town, the Johannesburg version draws crowds of hip market-goers every Saturday looking for artisanal bread, cheese, craft beer and even frozen mojitos. The market is also a source for farm fresh foods.

The most established precinct on the edge of downtown Joburg, 44 Stanley is a mixed use development that fuses downtown urbanism with a subtle sophistication. Pata Pata Restaurant

Pata Pata is local café that serves a traditional African inspired cuisine. Their menu offers simple meals like burgers, wraps, salads and signature dishes including stuffed chicken breast, lamb shank, oxtail stew and crocodile wors. The restaurant is known for their live entertainment too with a regular live jazz tunes, making it a great spot for a chilled night out with friends.
