House Rules

Riva is both a family home and a bed and breakfast. The house rules are for the comfort of everyone in the house.

Due to our boutique like size we are rather close together and unlike hotels we are all part of the comings and goings.

Treat the house like you were visiting a nice friend or your great aunt.

Have a nightcap! but don’t bring the party home.

If a pal comes over, please enjoy our communal areas but send them homeward when you’re off to bed. Guests not checked in through the front desk may not stay in rooms to visit.

We know our gowns are comfy, but please keep them as attire for your room.

Noise travels like tourists on a Contiki tour, to keep the area relaxed please keep your favourite jam for your own listening pleasure.

Illegal substances or offensive items are for your home alone, please keep our home free from them.

Please remember to keep it down when entering or leaving so everyone can enjoy a good night’s sleep.

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the house or on the property.
